The Head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze, met with the chairman of the parliament of Georgia
The Head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze, held the meeting with the chairman of the Parliament of Georgia – Shalva Papuashvili.
The Head of the Special Investigation Service introduced the new strategy of the service, the action plan and the challenges to the head of the legislative body. At the introductory meeting, the issue of functional strengthening of the service was emphasized.
“The support of the Parliament of Georgia, government and civil society in the strategy implementation process and the goals of the Service is of utmost importance. One of the most important prerequisites for the democratic development of the country and the protection of human rights is an effective, timely and independent investigation of the acts of violence”, - said the head of the Special Investigation Service.
