Statement of the Special Investigation Service

The Special Investigation Service launched the investigation under the article 158, section 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies violation of the secrecy of private communication.

Investigation was launched based on the information spread by the media regarding the alleged fact of unauthorised recording and eavesdropping on the private communication between the employees of TV company - "Mtavari Arkhi".

The Service will conduct all necessary procedural and investigative measures in the shortest period of time.
