Koka Katsitadze hosted the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan
The Head of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) Koka Katsitadze hosted the Chairman Argishti Kyaramyan and the Deputy Chairman Arsen Ayvazyan of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
The purpose of the official visit of the Republic of Armenia's delegation to Georgia was to exchange experiences in various investigative areas and strengthen future cooperation.
During the meeting, Koka Katsitadze introduced the guests to the primary areas of the Service's activities, its functions and the reforms that the Special Investigation Service (SIS) has implemented to establish transparent investigation standards.
Attention was also given to the initiatives and changes made by the Special Investigation Service (SIS) to enhance the legal rights of victims. This includes providing citizens with access to case materials, implementing special protection measures and developing a unified investigative policy.
The Head of the Service, along with his deputies Giorgi Kvaratskhelia and Natia Songhulashvili, hosted the members of the Republic of Armenia's Investigative Committee delegation in Kutaisi at the West Georgia Division office of the SIS.
During the meeting, both parties shared their experiences in the field of investigation and discussed ways to further enhance the existing relations between the two countries.
Representatives of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) as well as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia H.E Ashot Smbatyan and Consul General Ms. Narine Matosyan attended the meeting.
