Koka Katsitadze, Head of Special Investigation Service and Giorgi Kvaratskhelia, the First Deputy held working meetings with the West regional Offices representatives
In the frames of the regional meeting, Koka Katsitadze and Giorgi Kvaratskhelia held the working meetings with the West regional Offices representatives in Kutaisi and Batumi.
At the meeting, Koka Katsitadze discussed the Legislative Initiative presented to the Parliament, aimed at improving social state of the employees of the Special Investigation Service and the expansion of the independence of the Service.
The discussion focused on new forty articles, added to the subordination of the Investigative Service as well as on future plans and basic principles of activities. The specific plans for improving the legal status of affected citizens were also highlighted.
“We visited the regional offices in Kutaisi and Batumi, informed the employees on the future plans of the service, legislative changes related to improving the legal status of the affected citizens, strengthening the service and increasing the social guarantees of the employees. It should be noted that the Kakheti and Samegrelo regional offices will be added to the Special Investigation Service, which should further improve the efficiency of the investigation,” noted the Head of the Special Investigation Service.
"Today, at the working meeting between the management and the staff of the Western Division of the Special Investigation Service, we talked about the current and future activities, introduced the implementation of the new added articles to the practice and the legislative changes submitted to the Parliament to improve the social protection of staff members ", said Giorgi Gvarakidze, Deputy Head of the Investigation Department of the Special Investigation Service.
Special mention was made of expansion of the Special Investigative Service through opening the additional regional offices in Kakheti and Samegrelo.
