Koka Katsitadze hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia H.E Heidi Grau to the Special Investigation Service.

 

The Head of the Special Investigation Service Koka Katsitadze with his Deputies Giorgi Kvaratskhelia and Natia Songulashvili held the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia H.E Heidi Grau.

 

During the introductory meeting parties discussed the aspects of future cooperation.

 

The head of the Special Investigation Service introduced the functions and mandate of the Service to the diplomat.

 

Koka Katsitadze emphasized that the Service is focused on conducting investigations in accordance with international standards and implementing the best international experience and practices for institutional development. The parties discussed sharing positive expertise, familiarization of the activities and establishing future cooperation with the Swiss Police Mediation Office and other counterpart agencies.

 

Koka Katsitadze thanked Ambassador H.E Heidi Grau for the meeting and the fruitful discussion along with the best wishes for success in her honorable mission.

 

George Kanashvili, National Peace and Human Rights Officer of the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia and Natia Pirashvili, the Head of the International Relations Department of the Special Investigation Service attended the meeting.
